You will receive a warm welcome, since 2008 from our small site we find loving homes for hundreds of dogs. At any one time we will have eight dogs in kennels most ready to go into new homes.

Each year over four hundred lost dogs are found in East Sussex, many simply lost from a good home. Over three hundred eventually do find their way home. By law a dog owner should have a collar and tag on their dog, along with a microchip this helps to return dogs home as safely and quickly as possible.

Those lost dogs that are not claimed are then sent to rehoming centres such as ours. We received over 100 lost dogs (and puppies like Jock & Trusty) last year from the East Sussex region that we found new homes for.

Here at Woodside Dogs Home, we take in more stray dogs than any other rescue in Susex. We are the smallest home but work the most effectively to ensure good dogs find their forever homes - relying on the support of people like you to provide the dogs with the care they need. Each month we hold a consultancy day where owners having behavioural or training issues with their dogs can get advice.

Our work is only possible thanks to the great kindness of those who give us donations or remember us in their wills. We are truly grateful to our supporters for their great generosity.
